On New Years day we went to Hardware Ranch. They have a program were they feed the elk herd during the winter. Hundreds of elk come back every day to eat in this field.
You can go on a sleigh ride to get up close.
It was pretty fun! During the ride the guide was telling us about elk and I already knew most of what he was saying. I realized that it was because Kyle comes home from his animal science classes and tells me the cool stuff he learns. When the ride was over we were pretty relieved because it was such a COLD day!
